Probation
Every new member of staff will first be placed on 6-month probation on their start date. As their manager, it is beneficial to have review periods with the employee just to check on how they are progressing and if there are any issues, it can be identified and corrected as soon as possible. Use this Review Form to help you with your staff’s probation. If you find that you want to extend the staff member’s probation you can use this template letter.

Eye Test for Drivers
Eyesight is obviously vital for our drivers. This is why we require them to complete regular eyesight tests, it is preferable that an eyesight test is conducted by an optician, however, if this is not possible, then one can be conducted in the workplace by their line manager and recorded using the form found here.
This is in line with our Safe Driving Policy and the RoSPA Safer Driving for Work Handbook.
